This home rennovation project by OMG Kitchen & Bath Remodeling was located in Oak Park – Northwood, in San Antonio, TX. A full kitchen & master bathroom remodel brought a modern and elegant look to this beautiful mid century home. A kitchen with tall ceilings open to the living room area is given a new look. A master bathroom with a stand-in shower & tub combo have also been given a new look.

BEFORE & AFTER KITCHEN REMODEL
These before photos show the old kitchen before its renovation. An open kitchen leads to both the living room and dining room areas.
AFTER KITCHEN REMODEL
The results are astonishing! New kitchen cabinets reach to the ceiling, giving the homeowner a great deal of storage space. The kitchen stove is accentuated by a custom tile backsplash and a large vent hood. The large kitchen island is also updated with new cabinets painted a light blue color, topped with a quartz countertop and undermounted sink, and new custom bar stool seating. Kitchen appliances have been updated as well, bringing this kitchen into the 21st century.

THE PANTRY: A HIDDEN GEM
Follow us into the pantry! Right beside the fridge are two tall cabinet doors that lead us into the pantry. Inside you will find a what appears to be a hidden nook as you walk inside the pantry. Multiple cabinets and shelving gives this pantry a lot of storage space for all your kitchen staples and kitchenware.
OTHER HOME RENOVATION DETAIL
The dining area is located right at the entrance of this home. A recessed area in the dining room wall was added for decoration and to improve the use of space for the accent cabinet.Â
The living room has also been given an updated look. The shelves have been painted light blue to match both the kitchen island cabinets and the color of the ceiling. Out with the old furniture, and in with the new living room furniture set to match the overall mood and decor of this re-design.
This is a good example of a small kitchen where we maximize the space for the customer.
BEFORE & AFTER BATHROOM REMODEL
These before photos of this bathroom show a tub and stand-in shower combo. The tub is surrounded by tile and two columns that reach the ceiling. Large glass blocks surround the stand-in shower with multiple showerheads. A dual sink vanity counter top is made of the same bathroom wall tile.
AFTER BATHROOM REMODEL
It’s astounding to see how much open space there is in this master bathroom from the before and after pictures. The removal of the columns and the glass shower blocks gives this bathroom both an open and inviting feeling. The stand-in shower step was removed, and a slope was put in it’s place, giving the stand-in shower ease of access. The bathroom vanity cabinets have been replaced, and is topped with a quartz countertop.
